Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Terms entered in a search box are sent to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep a local log of the names, case numbers, or other terms submitted there.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, the message may be retained long enough to review and answer it. We do not disclose that correspondence outside our organization unless required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard technical records may be created when a page loads. They can include an IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring page, and visit timestamps.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics services help measure traffic, page use, performance, and navigation. A browser can block or remove cookies, though doing so may alter how some site functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical data may be used to operate and secure the website, route a submitted search to its provider, understand which pages are useful, diagnose faults, improve performance, and display advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests.
No Court-Record Data on File
Comanche County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It publishes reference information about records kept by the Comanche County District Clerk, County Clerk, courts, and statewide services. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into reports about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside businesses power the search tools. Data submitted to a tool is handled under that provider’s privacy terms, retention practices, and sharing rules, which we do not control. Review those terms before entering any information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Comanche County offices, Texas courts, re:SearchTX, legal resources, or commercial services. Once a visitor leaves this domain, the destination’s policy governs. Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure activity across websites.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to a search provider processing a query, analytics and hosting services supporting site operation, advertising networks serving ads, or a government body acting under a valid legal demand.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and operational safeguards are used for information under our control. No internet service can promise absolute security, so a breach or transmission failure cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under eighteen. If such information is identified, it may be removed.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Texas and federal consumer-protection or privacy law may provide rights based on the data and circumstances. A person may ask what information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, or seek to opt out of certain processing. Texas court-record access is separate: Texas Judicial Branch policy distinguishes case records and judicial records, while Texas Government Code Chapter 552 addresses public information and the judiciary boundary.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A replacement becomes effective when posted with its new date.
